Recommendation of the week: Mussels form the Ebro’s Delta

 

The heat is at its highest point, so this week we have a light meal: Mussels from the Ebro’s Delta. This species reaches its largest size in June and July, so August and September are the best months to enjoy them.

Besides, its high content of iodine and B12 helps the body to regulate energy, the proper functioning of cells and strengthens hair, skin and nails.

This week we have them steamed, enjoy them with a fresh glass of cava.
